Em meio a uma das piores crises de saúde pública do mundo, Cristãos e Cristãs no Brasil mantiveram sua tradição de celebrar a Semana de Oração pela Unidade dos Cristãos no período que antecede o Pentecostes. Pelo segundo ano, os participantes estarão se reunindo em oração, mas não presencialmente.

Inmitten einer der schlimmsten öffentlichen Gesundheitskrisen der Welt halten Christinnen und Christen in Brasilien an ihrer Tradition fest, in der Zeit vor Pfingsten die Gebetswoche für die Einheit der Christen zu feiern. Auch dieses Jahr versammeln sie sich wieder zum Gebet, jedoch ohne physische Zusammenkünfte.  

In the midst of one of the worst public health crises in the world, Christians in Brazil are upholding their tradition of celebrating the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity in the lead up to Pentecost. For the second year, they will be gathering in prayer without physical gatherings though. 

Du 4 au 6 mai, le séminaire international en ligne «Tragédie brésilienne : un risque pour notre maison commune?» a rassemblé des responsables religieux ainsi que des leaders des droits sociaux et humains et des experts renommés pour analyser de quelle manière le processus de déconstruction de la démocratie qui s’est opéré au Brésil ces dernières années a entraîné le pays dans de nombreuses crises.

El seminario internacional en línea “La tragedia brasileña: ¿Un peligro para nuestro hogar común?” reunió del 4 al 6 de mayo a dirigentes religiosos, sociales y de derechos humanos con destacados expertos para debatir cómo el proceso de deconstruir la democracia en Brasil en los últimos años ha llevado al país a múltiples crisis.

Ein internationales Online-Seminar mit dem Titel „Die brasilianische Tragödie:  eine Gefahr für unser gemeinsames Haus?“ hat leitenden Kirchenverantwortlichen sowie Führungspersonen sozialer Gruppen und Menschenrechtsorganisationen gemeinsam mit prominenten Fachleuten während eines Online-Seminars vom 4.–6. Mai die Gelegenheit gegeben, darüber zu diskutieren, wie der Prozess der Dekonstruktion der Demokratie in Brasilien in den vergangenen Jahren das Land in mehrere Krisen gesteuert hat.

An international online seminar, “Brazilian Tragedy: A Risk to Our Common Home?” brought religious, social and human rights leaders together with prominent experts on 4-6 May to discuss how the process of deconstructing democracy in Brazil in recent years has led the country to multiple crises.

The World Council of Churches (WCC) shared a congratulatory message with the Global Christian Forum on the forum’s upcoming third anniversary of its global gathering in Bogota, and the publication of the record of that event.

Le film «Silence radio», de Juliana Fanjul, a reçu le prix des Droits de l’Homme 2020, décerné par l’Association mondiale pour la communication chrétienne (WACC) et l’Association catholique mondiale pour la communication (SIGNIS).

Le long métrage documentaire dresse le portrait de Carmen Arestigui, journaliste et animatrice radio critique envers le gouvernement.  

El documental “Silencio radio”, dirigido por Juliana Fanjul, ha recibido el Premio de Derechos Humanos 2020 concedido por la Asociación Mundial para la Comunicación Cristiana (WACC) y SIGNIS, la Asociación Mundial Católica para la Comunicación.

El largometraje documental retrata la vida de la periodista y locutora de radio Carmen Aristegui, una voz crítica con el Gobierno mexicano. 

Der Film „Radio Silence“ (bedeutet „Funkstille“) von Juliana Fanjul wurde von der Weltvereinigung für Christliche Kommunikation und der katholischen Weltvereinigung für Kommunikation SIGNIS mit dem Menschenrechtspreis 2020 ausgezeichnet. 

Der lange Dokumentarfilm porträtiert die regierungskritische Journalistin und Radiomoderatorin Carmen Arestigui. 

The film “Radio Silence,” by Juliana Fanjul, has received the Human Rights Award 2020 from the World Association for Christian Communication and SIGNIS, the World Catholic Association for Communication.

The feature-length documentary portrays government-critical journalist and radio host Carmen Arestigui.
