The World Council of Churches (WCC) is inviting the global fellowship, partners, and friends to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

At a WCC central committee meeting,  members spend hours in plenary dealing with dozens of reports, developing documents, deliberating, discussing, and sometimes differing from each other. But there are also moments during breaks and on their way through the foyer where they enter another part of the life of the WCC.

Eine maßgebliche Beteiligung von Frauen an Konfliktlösungen und an der Friedensarbeit führt zu einem nachhaltigeren Frieden. Zu diesem Ergebnis kam eine Podiumsdiskussion mit Frauen, die sich in der Friedensarbeit engagieren. Auf dem Event wurde auch ein Dokumentarfilm aus dem Jahre 2015 über die Initiative „Women Cross the DMZ“ gezeigt.

La participación significativa de las mujeres en la solución de conflictos y la construcción de la paz promueve una paz más sostenible, según las conclusiones del debate de un panel con mujeres activistas por la paz, después de la proyección del documental sobre la iniciativa de 2015 “Women Cross the DMZ” (Mujeres cruzan la zona desmilitarizada).

Une participation importante des femmes dans la résolution des conflits et l’édification de la paix est bénéfique pour atteindre une paix plus durable. Telle est la conclusion d’une table ronde d’artisanes de la paix, qui s’est tenue après la projection d’un documentaire portant sur l’initiative de 2015 «Women Cross the DMZ».
