El CMI invita a los jóvenes a unirse al programa de stewards para la 11ª Asamblea en 2022

El Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI) invita a la juventud ecuménica a participar como stewards durante la 11ª Asamblea, en Karlsruhe (Alemania) en 2022. El programa de stewards tiene como objetivo reunir a un grupo dinámico y diverso de ciento sesenta jóvenes de todo el mundo, del 21 de agosto al 10 de septiembre de 2022. La invitación se extiende a los jóvenes de múltiples contextos, iglesias y regiones.

The 3rd reflection of the Seven Weeks for Water 2021 of the World Council of Churches (WCC) Ecumenical Water Network is written by Jesse Cruz Richards.*  The following reflection draws inspiration from the restoration of the Israelites from Babylonian exile as promised by Ezekiel, and from hopes and prayers for the restoration of the Klamath Tribes and other indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest to their rivers, waters and fishes, namely the C’iyaal, C’waam and Koptu.

WCC invites youth to Stewards Programme for 11th Assembly in 2022

The World Council of Churches (WCC) invites ecumenical youth to be stewards at the 11th Assembly in Karlsruhe, Germany, in 2022. The Stewards Programme aims to bring together a dynamic and diverse group of 160 young people from all over the world, from 21 August to 10 September 2022. The invitation is open to young people from a variety of backgrounds, churches and regions.

Lord, make us realize that our Christianity is like a rice field: when it is newly planted the paddies are prominent, but as the plants take root and grow taller, these divided paddies gradually vanish, and soon there appears only one vast continuous field. So, give us roots that love grows, and help us grow in Christian fellowship and service, that your will be done in our lives, through our Saviour, your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen

19 November marks World Toilet Day which celebrates toilets and raises awareness of the 4.2 billion people living without access to safely managed sanitation. It is about taking action to tackle the global sanitation crisis and achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6: water and sanitation for all by 2030.
