WCC reflects on “Pilgrimage of Justice, Reconciliation and Unity” at European consultation on just peace

During a European consultation on just peace, organized by the Conference of European Churches in cooperation with the Polish Ecumenical Council from 9-11 December, Peter Prove, director of the World Council of Churches (WCC) Commission of Churches on International Affairs, spoke about A Pilgrimage of Justice, Reconciliation, and Unity” in the context of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

Evangelical Mission in Solidarity on journey together with WCC

On 14 November, Rev. Anne Heitmann was elected chair of the Presidium of Evangelical Mission in Solidarity (EMS). She is also head of the Ecumenism and Church Worldwide department of the Protestant Church in Baden. WCC Gender Justice Reference Group to convene in Zimbabwe

The World Council of Churches (WCC) Gender Justice Reference Group will convene in Harare, Zimbabwe from 7-12 December. The group, meeting face-to-face for the first time, was created to dismantle gender inequalities and promote justice and reconciliation.
