 בהצהרה ציבורית אשר התרכזה בארץ הקודש, הועדה המרכזית של ה-WCC הביעה "סולידריות עמוקה עם הכנסיות החברות ועם הנוצרים באזור בחייהם ובעבודתם, כאשר הם מחזיקים את האמונה הנוצרית ואת עדות ארץ הקודש חיות ומהדהדות, וכן עם כל האנשים באזור."
