WCC: In North Korea, use negotiation not confrontation

Following North Korea’s 6th nuclear weapon test on Sunday 3 September, the World Council of Churches (WCC) redoubled its calls to reduce tensions on the Korean peninsula through negotiation rather than spiraling confrontation.

Comitê Central exorta as igrejas a lutar por "um mundo sem armas nucleares"

Na declaração "Por um mundo sem armas nucleares Nuclear-free World” (original em inglês), o Comitê Central do CMI apresentou recomendações sobre como as igrejas podem trabalhar em prol do fim dos riscos nucleares e reagir ao testemunho dos afetados por constantes tragédias nucleares – de Hiroshima, em 1945 a Fukushima, em 2011 e além.
