Ce document est le résumé d'un grand rapport établi par le Groupe mixte de travail sur le champ d'action et le travail du Groupe de 2007 à 2012. Le groupe, qui célèbrera bientôt cinquante ans d'existence, s’est récemment penché sur le concept de réception ecclésiale des travaux œcuméniques, les racines spirituelles de l'œcuménisme, la participation des jeunes dans l'Église et le travail qui se profile en matière de migration. Intitulé Se recevoir mutuellement au nom du Christ: Neuvième Rapport, 2007-2012, il est publié séparément.

WCC sees positive step in Palestine upgrade at the UN

The newly upgraded status of Palestine in the United Nations (UN) is viewed as a positive step in the direction toward peace and a reaffirmation of the World Council of Churches (WCC) long-term commitment to a two-state solution, Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit, WCC general secretary said on Friday.

Roman Catholics and WCC are welcomed by Christians of Syria

Since the mid-1960s, regular meetings of the Joint Working Group of the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Roman Catholic Church have provided an opportunity for the coordination of Christian concerns and activities across boundaries of confession and tradition. This year’s meeting took place from 26 September to 2 October 2010 at the Saint Christophoros Patriarchal Monastery in Saidnaya, Syria.
