As part of its ongoing commitment to water and food for life, the World Council of Churches (WCC), through its Ecumenical Water Network, will cohost the side event Water for Life: Bridging the Gap Between the Right to Water and Food during the 52nd session of the Committee on World Food Security (CFS 52). WCC highlights urgency of ecotheology at conference in Sicily

The World Council of Churches (WCC) participated in the 7th Annual Conference of the European Academy of Religion (EuARE), held in Palermo, Italy from 20-23 May. This year's conference focused on paradigm shifts in religions, drawing over 1,100 participants to discuss important ecological and theological issues.

The World Council of Churches (WCC), with the Laudato Si’ Movement and other partners, will cohost a seminar in Assisi, Italy, on 15-16 March. Entitled "The Feast of Creation and the Mystery of Creation: Ecumenism, Theology, Liturgy, and Signs of the Times in Dialogue,” the event aims to deepen the collective understanding and appreciation of the Feast of Creation, observed on 1 September.
