From 4 to 9 December 2023, thousands of people convened in Harare, Zimbabwe, for the 22nd International Conference on Aids and STIs in Africa (ICASA). The World Council of Churches (WCC), with support from UNAIDS, hosted a webinar in Uganda and Nigeria on 14 November under the theme ““Changing Hearts and Minds” against HIV stigma.

Entitled "Changing Hearts and Minds: Uganda and Nigeria in the Fight Against HIV Stigma," the webinar is organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC). This online event, scheduled for 14 November from 15:00 to 17:00 CET, will bring together esteemed voices from both the faith communities and networks of people living with HIV.

The WCC has launched two resources in collaboration with the UNAIDS Faith Partnership in the continued quest to support faith-based organizations and communities to respond to HIV.
