Assembly communicators reunite to look back—and step forward—together

Nearly 50 of 140 communicators who worked together at the World Council of Churches (WCC) 11th Assembly in Karlsruhe, Germany, in 2022 held an online reunion on 10 April, taking a fun look back at their fondest memories—and a serious look forward on how artificial intelligence is affecting their work.

La mesa redonda, encabezada por la Comisión de las Iglesias para Asuntos Internacionales, fue moderada por el Dr. Mathews George Chunakara, secretario general de la Conferencia Cristiana de Asia.

New chapter begins for WCC Faith and Order Commission

The newly-appointed WCC Faith and Order Commission met face-to-face for the first time to plan its next eight years of work. Theologians from all continents gathered in Tondano, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, hosted by the Indonesian Communion of Churches.
