Para Samson Waweru, de Kenia, está claro lo que significa la justicia digital: él cree que debe darse igual acceso, tanto a la información impresa como a la información digital, a quienes tienen una discapacidad y a quienes no la tienen.



“Al usar una computadora..”, dice en una entrevista en video con la directora ejecutiva del programa, Joy Eva Bohol, del Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI), “...esto aplica a las plataformas de redes sociales y su acceso”.

Für Menschen mit Behinderung geht es bei digitaler Gerechtigkeit um Zugänglichkeit, sagt Waweru von EDAN

Für den Kenianer Samson Waweru ist klar, was digitale Gerechtigkeit bedeutet: Menschen mit Behinderungen und Menschen ohne Behinderungen sollten den gleichen Zugang zu Informationen im Internet und den Printmedien haben, ist er überzeugt.



Bei der Nutzung von Computern, sagte er in einem Video-Interview mit Joy Eva Bohol, einer Programmreferentin des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK), gelte dies auch für die Social-Media-Plattformen und den Zugang dazu.

 Digital justice for Kenyan Samson Waweru is clear, as he believes there should be equal access to both cyber and print information for those who have disabilities and those who do not.



 When using a computer, he says in a video interview with World Council of Churches (WCC) programme executive Joy Eva Bohol that it applies to social media platforms and access to them.

Dieses Symposium wird sich mit dem Einfluss der digitalen Transformation auf Gemeinschaften und Gesellschaften befassen, sowie mit den erforderlichen Handlungen, um eine gerechte und integrative digitale Zukunft zu gewährleisten. Dank der Kombination von Erkenntnissen aus der Forschung, Erfahrungsberichten aus verschiedenen Regionen und Gemeinschaften, Fachwissen sowie ethischen und theologischen Überlegungen wird das Symposium Handlungsmöglichkeiten ermitteln, und damit zur 11. Vollversammlung des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK) beitragen.

This symposium will focus on the impact of digital transformation on communities and societies, and the actions needed to secure a just and inclusive digital future. Bringing together research, experiences from different regions and communities, expert input, and ethical and theological reflection, it will identify opportunities for action as a contribution to the 11th assembly of the World Council of Churches.
