TECNOLOGÍAS NUEVAS Y EMERGENTES: DESAFÍOS ÉTICOS (declaración)

Las nuevas tecnologías están transformando nuestro mundo y los diversos espacios en los que vivimos, trabajamos y damos testimonio. Estas tecnologías nos ofrecen nuevas maneras de crear, sanar, comunicar y transitar por el mundo. Sin embargo, aunque no cabe duda de que muchas de esas tecnologías ofrecen avances reales o potenciales en el bienestar humano, también han suscitado preocupación por sus repercusiones sociales y ambientales y sus consecuencias éticas, especialmente a la luz de la rapidez con la que estas se desarrollan y aplican.

Al abordar la cuestión de la salud y el bienestar, los cristianos y las iglesias afirmamos que el dador y sustentador de la vida es nuestro Señor Jesucristo, el que sana nuestros cuerpos y almas, el que sana todas nuestras dolencias, el que rescata del hoyo nuestras vidas y nos corona de favores y misericordia. (Sal. 103:3-4).

This toolkit provides resources for churches, church-run schools, and summer camps to support intergenerational climate and environmental justice and promote care for children by stopping further global warming. All churches are encouraged to promote education and action to address climate change, reduce CO2 emissions, and protect the environment in their activities for and with children and youth.

Directrices para el orden de las reuniones

This guide is intended to introduce the reader to consensus decision-making in the World Council of Churches and to the procedures for implementing it in the conduct of meetings. Both the rule for the conduct of meetings (Rule XIX) and these guidelines are worded so as to apply to a meeting of the assembly of the Council, and they are to be used also in meetings of all its governing and consultative bodies. Finally, the flowchart of consensus procedures outlines the different steps involved in achieving consensus during the meetings.

Convencida por los conceptos innovadores y sostenibles iniciados por el Consejo Mundial de Iglesias e Implenia, el importante proveedor suizo de servicios inmobiliarios y de construcción, Swiss Life Investment Foundation, ha comprado una parcela del Green Village y el edificio de oficinas Kyoto, que dispondrá de una superficie bruta de unos 14 000 m². Green Village, el proyecto de desarrollo inmobiliario en el corazón del Quartier des Nations de Ginebra, ha alcanzado con éxito un nuevo hito hacia la finalización de su primera fase.
