Current and future leaders representing churches worldwide are invited to apply for the Ecumenical School on Governance, Economics and Management for an Economy of Life (GEM School) from 17 to 28 August 2020, tentatively to be held in Taipei. Aim of the training is strengthening the voice of churches on global economics and their advocacy for an Economy of Life.

In order to strengthen the voice of the churches with regards to global economics, a group of 20 current and future leaders representing the churches will have the opportunity to attend the Ecumenical School on Governance, Economics and Management (GEM) for an Economy of Life in Jakarta, Indonesia from 19-30 August 2019.

International forum will aim at promoting inter-contextual and cross-cultural dialogue on topics such as social service, sustainable development and peace among Chinese, European and global NGOs, government authorities and academia.

The United Church of Canada, in partnership with the WCC Commission of the Churches on International Affairs, is presenting a webinar on anti-Black racism and Afrophobia. This webinar is part of the church’s participation in the UN International Decade for People of African Descent.

Organized by Globethics.net, the lecture will provide the occasion for a panoramic analysis of theological education in the context of the growing diversity of Christianity and offer reflections and proposals on what is needed for a sustainable ecumenical and contextual theological education today.
