Vom 21. bis 27. Juni kommt der Zentralausschuss des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK) zu seiner ersten Tagung zusammen, seit das Leitungsgremium auf der 11. Vollversammlung des ÖRK im Jahr 2022 gewählt wurde. Der Zentralausschuss wird sich vorwiegend mit Strategien und konkreten Maßnahmen zur Erreichung der von der Vollversammlung festgelegten Ziele befassen. Die Umsetzung von Prioritäten in Maßnahmen in allen Programmbereichen und das weitere Stärken des Einflusses des ÖRK auf das Weltgeschehen in einem Geiste des Pilgerns, der Versöhnung und der Einheit sind wesentliche Ziele der Tagung.
