On 1 June, at the Berner Münster in Bern, Switzerland, Ecumenical Vespers marked a celebration of joy and unity in faith organized by the Swiss National Council of Churches and the Protestant Church in Switzerland.

An Armenian Heritage Conference has closed with a statement urging coordinated international action to protect Armenian religious and cultural heritage, the human rights of its people, and the future security of the Armenian nation. The conference was hosted by World Council of Churches (WCC) in collaboration with Protestant Church in Switzerland, in Bern, Switzerland on 27-28 May. 

The World Council of Churches (WCC) executive committee will convene 12-16 May via video conference to conduct the regular business of the first half of the year. The executive committee will also review preparations for the WCC central committee meeting, which will convene 18-24 June in Johannesburg, South Africa.

A "Faith and Order Update," presenting some of the main areas of the work of the World Council of Churches (WCC) Commission on Faith and Order, has been published as the WCC looks towards the  Sixth World Conference on Faith and Order later in 2025, and in the year that marks the 1700th anniversary of the Council of Nicaea.

In 2025, one of the few years when Christians of all traditions will celebrate Easter on the same date – 20 April – a webinar being organized by the World Council of Churches on 13 February will explore how churches might renew the search for a common Easter date as a sign of their unity in faith.

More than 130 people gathered in-person and online for the Nicaea 2025 Bossey International Conference, being held 5-7 November.

The Mar Thoma Syrian Church of Malabar and Old-Catholic Church in Switzerland convened at the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey on 3 October. The group also paid a visit to the new offices of the World Council of Churches (WCC) in Geneva.
