Der Generalsekretär des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK) Pastor Prof. Dr. Jerry Pillay sagte im Namen der Mitgliedskirchen des ÖRK, dass die Erklärung des 25. Weltkonzil des Russischen Volkes, das den Konflikt in der Ukraine als „Heiligen Krieg“ darstellt, für den ÖRK nicht vereinbar sei.
