Letter to the WCC member churches in DRC regarding the false correspondence

Dear brothers and sisters,

On 27 August, an email was sent to various partners of the World Council of Churches under my name from the following email address: [email protected].

This email states that I am on a fraternal visit to the Democratic Republic of Congo, and it requests that the recipient call me by phone for an urgent communication.

Please take note that I did not send this email, that the email address and telephone number are not mine, and that I am not in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

In fact, I am currently attending the Pentecostal World Conference in Canada, and I am not visiting the Democratic Republic of Congo.
