The Evangelische Hochschule Darmstadt students, which visited from 2-5 April, comprised 29 participants who attended workshops and participated in discussions at the Ecumenical Centre and the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey. 

Topics included overcoming racism and key themes in ecumenical missiology. 

The Evangelische Hochschule Darmstadt visitors also engaged in workshops focusing on the origins of the ecumenical movement, sessions on the WCC Ecumenical Water Network, and sister organizations.

The  delegation observed "Thursdays in Black," a global movement advocating for a world without rape and violence, by wearing black attire as a symbol of solidarity and support.

Participants also received a guided guided tour of the Ecumenical Centre as well as an introduction to the World Council of Churches.

Visit of l'Eglise protestante unie de France CPLR

The visit from l'Eglise protestante unie de France CPLR took place on 5 April. The delegation was welcomed to the Ecumenical Centre by Doug Chial, director of the WCC Office of the General Secretariat, who provided a brief introduction to the WCC. 

The delegation engaged in a discussion on the theme of "Just Community of Women and Men." Led by Rev. Nicole Ashwood, programme executive Just Community of Women and Men and Dr Manoj Kurian, WCC director of the Commission of the Churches on Health and Healing, along with Gracia Violeta Ross, WCC programme executive, the exchange emphasized the importance of gender equality.
