WCC grateful for Rev. Dr Chris Ferguson’s unwavering commitment

“We sincerely appreciate and are grateful for your ministry for justice and peace,” said WCC acting general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Ioan Sauca. “Your commitment to the ecumenical movement has been unwavering.”

Sauca commended Ferguson’s commitment to social justice, economic justice and peace-building. “You, Rev. Dr Ferguson, have spent a lifetime of solidarity with people seeking justice and struggling for peace around the world,” Sauca said. “May God continue to bless you with strong faith, inspire and uphold you in service to the one ecumenical movement for unity, justice and peace in solidarity with the most vulnerable in the world.”
