“As you take on your new responsibilities, I am confident that your leadership will continue to guide the EKD with its member churches through the challenges of our time, and they are numerous,” said Pillay. “Your humility, wisdom, and vision will serve as a foundation for a future filled with hope and promise for all those who look to EKD for guidance and support.”
