The WCC COVID-19 support team

The World Council of Churches (WCC) COVID-19 support team continues to field questions related to COVID-19 from member churches. As the coronavirus pandemic wears on, the team strives to offer accurate information combined with a sense of spiritual care. The WCC also welcomes answers and ideas for best practices from member churches, as new voices of wisdom help us all.

For the fourth time, the team has collected questions from the ecumenical fellowship, many of which are shared across faith communities, nations and even continents. The answers, shared below, are meant to support churches, partners and individuals who continue to navigate their unique responses to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The WCC COVID-19 support team consists of specialised staff members who promote a dialogue that shares accurate information and comfort in the face of ambiguity and fear.
