Indeed, in ecumenical life, below and perhaps beyond our divisions as churches, we often experience the invaluable fellowship as friends and friends of Christ,” Sauca said.

Sauca also reflected on the renewal of all creation in Christ by the Spirit, and on how the Protestant Church of Switzerland is a “witness to the promise of the triumph of God.

Indeed, the threats which weigh nowadays on the planet and on the dignity of the poorest and most vulnerable, accentuated by the pandemic, call on the churches to listen to the word of God together rather separately, so that they are not tempted by the false word of another lord, by the false word of messianism of economic greed, indifference to the vulnerable, even racism and xenophobia, as well as violence against women,” said Sauca. May the Spirit who gives life always animate the Protestant  Church of Switzerland.”
