Religious leaders and representatives of peoples and cultures from all over the world drew together at the La Nuvola Congress Center, and concluded with the Prayer for Peace at the Colosseum.
During the opening, Andrea Riccardi, historical and founder of the Community of Sant’Egidio, said: "A prophetic imagination is needed. When minds and hearts are opened, avenues are born to answer the cry for peace."
