The conference addressed the consequences of the conflict, including the forced displacement of Armenians and the destruction of their heritage. 

During the conference, Tasoula Hadjitofi, author and cultural activist, spoke about what remains of the Christian and national identities of occupied territories in preserving the human dignity of refugees (Cyprus). 

In a video interview, she describes how she transformed personal loss to a global mission for justice. 

I think that when you're a child and you witness war, youre just never the same again,she says. 

Now, in the current era, she is deeply concerned for children who are experiencing the same sort of trauma. We live in an era where we have lost our moral compass,” she says. Every country is looking at their national and economic interests.
