He will introduce the current context of the city and present the stories of people living under military occupation.
Brock is an international development practitioner from Ireland, previously worked as a lecturer of international development in Maynooth University and has managed education programmes in Ireland, India, and Zambia while working for the non-governmental organization Suas Educational Development.
In 2002, the WCC founded the Ecumenical Accompaniment Programme in Palestine and Israel in response to a call by church leaders in the Holy Land.
Working closely with local communities, Israeli and Palestinian human rights groups, and international agencies, the programme has maintained a constant presence in the region ever since.
