At a high-level conference, hosted by The Foundation Dialogue for Peace and moderated by Norway’s former prime minister, Mr Kjell Magne Bondevik, the World Council of Churches (WCC), the Muslim World League and the World Health Organization will share experiences with ministers, ambassadors, politicians, peace associations and others. Accredited media are welcome to participate onsite in Geneva. More details about the conference here.

As one of this year’s Bridge Builder Award receivers, WCC acting general secretary, Rev. Prof. Dr Ioan Sauca, will share a faith-based perspective in his keynote speech on lessons learned the past year and the strength of multinational cooperation on a global scale in unprecedented situations, such as the current pandemic.

Other keynote speakers are H.E. Dr Muhammad Bin Abulkarim Al-Issa, secretary general of the Muslim World League, who also received the award this year, and H.E. Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, director general of the World Health Organization, and HE Mr. Jagan Chapagain, secretary general of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies.
