From 7-8 December, local entrepreneurs from different parts of the world with different nationalities came together in a spirit of unity and reconciliation.

From fashionable clothing that honors ones heritage, to jewelry, to other handmade holiday items from across the world, the concept of the Christmas market display emerged from continuing in the spirit of the World Council of Churches 11th Assembly, bringing people together, celebrating different pilgrimages and gifts, with a focus on unity and reconciliation during this festive season. Additionally, this was a way to encourage fellowship while supporting local entrepreneurs with work they are doing in the creative space.

Bringing together kindred spirits, the market drew diverse people from different organisations, and 10 percent of what they made went to local charities.

The World Council of Churches also hosted an Advent service alongside the Christmas market, ushering in the holiday season in a spiritual way.
