Un colloque en ligne de trois jours, du 11 au 13 février, organisé par le Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE) et le Séminaire œcuménique et francophone de théologie de l’écologie, a rassemblé des personnalités autour du thème «Penser les relations écologiques à l’ère de l’anthropocène».

A three-day online conference organized by the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Ecumenical and Francophone Seminar on Theology of Ecology, 11-13 February, gathered voices to reflect on the theme “Rethinking Ecological Relationships in the Anthropocene Era.”

في أعقاب المؤتمر رفيع المستوى لمجلس الكنائس العالمي/الأمم المتحدة بشأن أزمة اللاجئين في أوروبا، والذي انعقد في المركز المسكوني بجنيف يوم 18-19 كانون الثاني/يناير، صدر بيانٌ بعنوان "استجابة أوروبا لأزمة اللاجئين، من بلدان المنشأ إلى العبور، وحتى الاستقبال واللجوء: دعوة إلى تقاسم المسؤولية وتنسيق الإجراءات".

Im Anschluss an die hochrangige ÖRK/UN-Konferenz über die Flüchtlingskrise in Europa, die am 18. und 19. Januar im Ökumenischen Zentrum in Genf stattgefunden hat, wurde eine Erklärung mit dem Titel „Europas Reaktion auf die Flüchtlings- und Migrantenkrise, von den Ursprungsorten über die Durchgangsstationen bis zur Aufnahme und Zuflucht: ein Aufruf zu gemeinsamer Verantwortung und koordiniertem Handeln“ herausgegeben.

Following the WCC/UN High Level Conference on the Refugee Crisis in Europe, which took place at the Ecumenical Centre Geneva on 18-19 January, a statement has been issued entitled "Europe’s Response to the Refuge Crisis, From Origin to Transit, Reception and Refuge, A Call for Shared Responsibility and Coordinated Action”.

Tras la conferencia de alto nivel celebrada en el Centro Ecuménico de Ginebra el 18 y el 19 de enero por el CMI y la ONU sobre la crisis de refugiados en Europa, se ha publicado una declaración titulada La respuesta de Europa a la crisis de refugiados y migrantes, desde los países de origen y de tránsito hasta los de acogida y refugio: llamamiento a la responsabilidad compartida y las medidas concertadas.

À l’issue d’une conférence de haut niveau sur la crise des réfugiés en Europe, organisée par le COE et des agences onusiennes au Centre œcuménique de Genève les 18 et 19 janvier, une déclaration a été produite, intitulée «La réponse de l’Europe à la crise des réfugiés et des migrants – Départ, transit, accueil et refuge: un appel au partage des responsabilités et à la coordination des actions».

Mehr als zwanzig hochrangige Vertretende von Religionen saßen anlässlich der COP 21 an einem Tisch zusammen mit Vertreterinnen und Vertretern der Jugend, der Politik und der Zivilgesellschaft, bei dem es zwar Messer und Gabeln, aber kein Essen gab, um öffentlich ihren Hunger nach Klimagerechtigkeit zu zeigen. Der Stunt war Teil der Initiativen zum Klimafasten am 1. Dezember in Paris.

Over 20 faith leaders, with youth, political and civil society representatives sat down for a unique lunch at COP21 at a table with knives and forks but no food, in a public demonstration of their hunger for climate justice. The stunt was part of the Fast for the Climate initiatives on December 1st in Paris.

International humanitarian and development faith based networks have urged governments preparing for next week's COP21 United Nations climate summit in Paris to do their outmost to reach a fair, binding, and ambitious agreement as vulnerable people continue their daily struggle to adapt to the increasing adverse effects of climate change.

In a recent statement, religious leaders called for an ambitious climate agreement, reminding all governments to commit to emission cuts and climate risk reduction. They promised to continue working for climate justice, including divestment from fossil energy.
