Thursdays in Black ambassador Rev. Dr Anders Göranzon, general secretary of the Swedish Bible Society will lead a Bible study on Matthew 16:21-23 and the difficult choices we have to make – or have been forced upon us. The public is invited to register and participate via question-and-answer sessions as well as small group discussion. The event is part of a series of Bible studies led by Thursdays in Black ambassadors.

The reflections address critical topics that arise in our societies and Christian communities that contribute to or respond to gender-based violence. The reflections and dialogue in the online study will provide diverse perspectives from the World Council of Churches ecumenical fellowship.
