New forces are transforming the world of work. The transitions involved call for decisive action. As people of faith reflect on the future of our humanity, they place human dignity at the centre, based on discernment for the common good.

This inter-religious event, which is going to be divided into two panels, will allow the faith traditions to share convictions and visions for the dignity of work and of the workers.

Taking place at the International Labour Organization (ILO) in the context of this organization's centenary, the event is co-organized by the Permanent Mission of the Holy See, the Permanent Delegation of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the World Council of Churches (WCC), the Caritas in Veritate Foundation, and the Project “The future of work, labour after Laudato Si”.

Speakers include the WCC General Secretary Rev. Dr Olav Fykse Tveit; the ILO Director-General Guy Ryder; and Archbishop Paul Richard Gallagher, Vatican Secretary for Relations with States.
