Under the theme “Ecumenical Formation as Ethos and as Programme,” the meeting will consider the commission’s mandate and priorities, review current initiatives, and identify directions for its future work. The gathering will also provide opportunities for dialogue with the WCC leadership, the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey, and students currently engaged in its formation programme.

The meeting will coincide with celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the Ecumenical Institute at Bossey, providing an opportunity to honour its contribution to ecumenical formation worldwide and reflect on its future.
