Interfaith Dialogues Series For the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children

A new online Interfaith Dialogues Series organized by Religions for Peace, Arigatou International, and the World Council of Churches on 26 November will mark the World Day of Prayer and Action for Children.

The Interfaith Dialogues Series “Advancing the Responsibility to Protect the Rights and Dignity of the Child” will bring together religious leaders and faith communities to explore how we can advance childrens wellbeing and preserve their dignity through dialogue, shared learning, and collective action.

The series is set to begin in November 2025 and continue through November 2026, offering a sustained space for reflection, dialogue, learning, and peer support among religious leaders.

The first session on 26 November and will convene approximately 80 religious leaders, with the aim of building shared learning and fostering collective action to uphold childrens dignity amidst global challenges.

A World Day Package, entitled Mobilizing Faith and Communities for Childrens Rights and Wellbeing,” will also be released. World Children's Day is commemorated annually on 20 November.
