Talanoa is a Pasifika methodology of resolving issues in communities, and was introduced by the Fijian presidency of COP23.

This gathering will also aim to provide a nourishing and hopeful space for climate justice advocates at the start of COP29, as well as a venue to explore and deepen responses from different angles.

The gathering will also offer an opportunity for participating organizations to endorse an Interfaith Call to Action. This statement, drafted by the Interfaith Liaison Committee to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (co-chaired by the World Council of Churches), expresses concerns, demands, and hopes of faith communities to be delivered to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Executive Secretariat and the COP29 presidency of the COP29.

When: 6 November at 2:30-4pm CET
