The global youth event is for 50 people under the age of 30.

The conference will explore how churches with high youth representation seem to have opened the door to opportunities for spiritual exploration and building community among members, which is key to the future of the churches. At the same time and despite many good efforts, youth presence in certain churches keeps declining, challenging the future but also pointing to the fact that presence” does not mean involvement, nor ownership, neither leadership.

The young people will explore how to engage their peers in the leadership and mission of the church as a safe space.”

Participants will explore how they can contribute with new perspectives and enthusiasm to church work, and how investing in the empowerment of young people means investing in the future and the growth of faith communities.
