Climate justice and environmental initiatives for and with children/youth webinar

Millions of children and youth have been marching to demand climate action. Only on 24 May, over 1.8 million people took part in over 2,000 activities in 125 countries all around the world.

In light of the Statement on the Global Biodiversity Crisis and the Urgent Need for Structural Change adopted by the WCC Executive Committee on 27 May, WCC in partnership with UNICEF invite all the interested to a webinar that will present climate justice and environmental initiatives for and with children/youth.

Millions of children and youth have been marching to demand climate action. Only on 24 May, over 1.8 million people took part in over 2,000 activities in 125 countries all around the world.

In light of the Statement on the Global Biodiversity Crisis and the Urgent Need for Structural Change adopted by the WCC Executive Committee on 27 May, WCC in partnership with UNICEF invite all the interested to a webinar that will present climate justice and environmental initiatives for and with children/youth.

The webinar aims to support churches' initiatives in Sunday schools, church-run schools, summer camps and other settings where children and young people can be further involved in the development of solutions. It will offer an opportunity for discussion and foster the network of churches engaged around the Churches' Commitments to Children and include information on offers and requests shared in the related Online Platform.

When:11 June, 2 pm – 3:30 pm CET / 8 pm – 9:30 pm EST
