En nombre de las iglesias miembros del Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI), el secretario general del CMI, Rev. Prof. Dr. Jerry Pillay, afirmó que el documento oficial del XXV Consejo Mundial de los Pueblos Rusos que describe el conflicto en Ucrania como una “guerra santa” es incompatible con las perspectivas del CMI.

Der Generalsekretär des Ökumenischen Rates der Kirchen (ÖRK) Pastor Prof. Dr. Jerry Pillay sagte im Namen der Mitgliedskirchen des ÖRK, dass die Erklärung des 25. Weltkonzil des Russischen Volkes, das den Konflikt in der Ukraine als „Heiligen Krieg“ darstellt, für den ÖRK nicht vereinbar sei.

Au nom de ses Églises membres, le secrétaire général du Conseil œcuménique des Églises (COE), le pasteur Jerry Pillay, a affirmé que le COE ne pouvait pas réconcilier le décret du XXV^e Conseil mondial du peuple russe, qualifiant le conflit en Ukraine de «guerre sainte».
