ВРЦ засудила терор народу України з боку Росії

Генеральний секретар Всесвітньої ради церков (ВРЦ) преподобний професор д-р Джеррі Піллей засудив тривалий терор українського народу з боку росії. Він зазначив, що «прикладом такого залякування є вчорашні ракетні удари по кількох українських містах, унаслідок яких загинуло щонайменше 30 осіб, а понад 160 людей отримали поранення».

World Council of Churches (WCC) general secretary Rev. Prof. Dr Jerry Pillay denounced the continuing Russian campaign to terrorize the people of Ukraine, “exemplified by yesterday’s missile attacks on several Ukrainian cities which resulted in at least 30 deaths and more than 160 wounded,” he said.

From 4 to 9 December 2023, thousands of people convened in Harare, Zimbabwe, for the 22nd International Conference on Aids and STIs in Africa (ICASA). Scientists, medical experts, advocates, people living with HIV, and civil society organizations came together under the theme “AIDS IS NOT OVER: Address inequalities; accelerate inclusion and innovation.” Participants from many faith traditions were a meaningful part of many of these representative groups but also took up a space of their own.
