Zum Valentinstag verkündet der ÖRK die Botschaft „Liebe heilt, und verletzt nicht”

Im Hinblick auf den bevorstehenden Valentinstag erinnert der Ökumenische Rat der Kirchen (ÖRK) daran, was eine gesunde menschliche Beziehung ausmacht: „Liebe heilt, und verletzt nicht.“ Diese Kampagne, die jetzt in ihr fünftes Jahr geht, ist Teil der weltweiten Bewegung „Donnerstags in Schwarz“ des ÖRK, die sich für eine Welt ohne Vergewaltigung und Gewalt einsetzt.

This booklet highlights the lessons learnt in a project, Strategic Engagement of Civil Society Networks and Faith Actors in the HIV Response in Four Countries,  implemented by the World Council of Churches (WCC), with the support of the Joint United Nations Program on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), from July to December 2022 

This initiative facilitated dialogue between civil society networks, faith actors, and key national HIV stakeholders in the Dominican Republic, India, Indonesia, and Jamaica.

Der emeritierte Papst Benedikt XVI. hinterlässt den ökumenischen Dialog als sein Vermächtnis

Nach Bekanntgabe des Todes Seiner Heiligkeit Papst emeritus Benedikt XVI. durch den Heiligen Stuhl, bekundete der Ökumenische Rat der Kirchen (ÖRK) seine tiefe Traurigkeit, und der geschäftsführende ÖRK-Generalsekretär Priester Prof. Dr. Ioan Sauca erklärte:

„Im Namen des Ökumenischen Rats der Kirchen spreche ich unser aufrichtiges Beileid zum Heimgang des emeritierten Papstes Benedikt XVI. aus. Er war der erste Papst, der aus einem Land mit einem ungefähr gleich hohen Anteil an Menschen protestantischen und katholischen Glaubens kam, das noch dazu im 16. Jahrhundert mitten im Zentrum der Reformation stand, nämlich aus Deutschland."

El papa emérito Benedicto XVI deja un legado de diálogo ecuménico

Como expresión de la profunda tristeza del Consejo Mundial de Iglesias (CMI) tras el anuncio hecho hoy por la Santa Sede del fallecimiento de su santidad, el papa emérito Benedicto XVI, el secretario general en funciones del CMI, Rev. Prof. Dr. Ioan Sauca, declaró:

“En nombre del Consejo Mundial de Iglesias, expreso nuestro más sentido pésame por el fallecimiento del papa emérito Benedicto XVI. Fue el primer papa procedente de un país, Alemania, con un equilibrio más o menos equitativo entre protestantes y católicos, y que estuvo en el centro mismo de la Reforma del siglo XVI”.
