Prayers for the Renewal of the mind: We pray and ask for God’s heart of promoting life and justice for and with all the people and leaders creating and using digital technology.
We pray for a digital space that is rooted and grounded in the sacred human identity of being made in the image of God. We pray that God would renew the minds of all engaged in digital communications to be led by the Spirit which promotes life and peace and to have a good spirit of wisdom and revelation in their decision-making that impacts billions of people.
Prayer for Restoration: We pray for God to help us to write a redemption story for digital use that disciples the nations and lands with love, mutual regard for human dignity and creature care. We pray Matthew 7:17 for all in the digital industry to be healed and delivered from anything that is not of God to become healthy trees producing good fruit and building and using digital technology that brings Glory to God and all people and creation.
Prayer for Love and Beauty: We pray for all in digital work to be perfected in love (1 John 4:18) and beauty and thereby walk in our calling and destiny by God’s power (Ephesians 1: 17-19).
Prayer for Discernment: We pray for discernment to grow (Hebrews 5:14). We affirm our responsibility to not call evil good, and good evil; to not put darkness for light, and light for darkness; to not put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Prayer for Humility and Wisdom: We pray for those in the digital space to embrace and live in the truth of humility that commends wisdom and revelation for the common good for and with all.
Prayer for Fruits of the Spirit as a Virtuous Call to Action: May the use of digital resources be used to spread the fruits of the Spirit including love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (John 1:3 & Galatians 5:22-23).
