listen to the groan of the dispossessed and displaced.
L2: We pray for farmers, indigenous peoples, and the poor,
whose land has been stolen.
We pray for the powerless,
whose land has been occupied.
God of life,
C: hear our prayer.
L1: God of justice,
listen to the cry of those who hunger and thirst.
L2: We pray that those who have too little will have enough.
We pray that those who have more than enough will be moved to share.
God of justice,
C: hear our prayer.
L1: God of peace,
listen to those who yearn for healing.
L2: We pray for people suffering violence of body, soul and mind.
We pray for the vulnerable in our homes, in our churches, in our countries.
We pray for the wounded and tortured in places of conflict.
We pray for those who commit violence.
God of peace,
C: hear our prayer.
L1: God of love,
listen to the prayers of your beloved community.
L2: Make us a faithful sign of your reign of peace.
Send us your Spirit, O God,
so that all can have life in its fullness.
Through faith, hope and love,
through witness, service and solidarity,
God of love,
