When pilgrims set out on their spiritual journey, it is a good tradition to send them on their way with a blessing. The material that you can download below is meant to help you organize an event for the Pilgrimage of Justice and Peace inspired by this tradition.
Description of the suggested activity:
Invite participants to take a blessing card that they can keep for themselves, and to write down a pilgrim’s blessing or prayer of their own on a blank, foot-shaped card. These foot-shaped cards can be placed on a symbolic pilgrimage trail marked on the floor, for example with a green cloth.
To share with fellow pilgrims worldwide, please take pictures of the cards placed on the cloth and tweet the photos tagging @wccpilgrimage.
Preparations:
Download the file feet_with_blessings.pdf below and print the necessary quantity on thick paper. Cut twice with a paper cutter to achieve post card format. You need 1 foot per participant, so for 80 people you would need to print 10 copies.

Prepare a symbolic pilgrimage trail on which the cards can be placed.
