Dear Rev. Dr. Olav Fykse Tveit,

Greetings from the Synod of the Church of North India.

Thank you so much for your email dated 24th May 2018 in regard to The World Council Churches witnessing its 70th anniversary and that you have approached the half-year mark in of this blessed celebration. It is indeed a blessing that WCC together with its member Churches is drawing even closer together in continuing its Pilgrimage of Justice and Peace.

The Church of North India indeed feels blessed, encouraged and strengthened to be with the WCC in continuing and carrying forward the journey of faith together in the fear of the Lord.

On behalf of the Church of North India, I herewith extend my heartfelt prayers and good wishes for the celebrations observing 70 years of ministry of the WCC and its upcoming significant events such as the Meetings of the WCC’s executive and central committees, Prayer service at Cathedral Saint-Pierre in Geneva and “Walking, praying and working together” with Pope Francis at the WCC. We specifically pray for the leadership of WCC as you make preparations for its 11th Assembly in 2021.

We continue to uphold to The World Council Churches in our prayers that has journeyed with the Church of North India for several years and pray for strengthened mission partnership ahead so that we all could together carry forward the mission of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ that He has shouldered us with.

I assure you of our continued prayers and best wishes for all your future endeavors as you take forward the blessed mission in the fear of the Lord.
