The World Council of Churches (WCC) invites member churches, faith-based communities, and civil society organizations around the world to join together for a week of prayer for just peace for all in Palestine and Israel on 16-23 September 2018.

Congregations and individuals around the globe who share the hope of justice shall unite during the week to take peaceful actions, together, to create a common international public witness.

Under the title of “Youth and Children: Raising Hope and Making Change”, the WCC now makes available prayer resources, fact sheets and advocacy material to aid congregations worldwide who wish to pray for just and lasting peace in the Holy Land.

“Be the winds of change for peace,” the material urges.
