From 4-5 September, the three general secretaries of the Communauté d´Eglises en Mission, United Evangelical Mission, and Council for World Mission met with the director of the Bossey Ecumenical Institute, Fr Ioan Sauca, and members of the faculty.

For more than ten years, the three mission agencies have been liaising very closely with Bossey, particularly in financing the chair for ecumenical missiology.

At the meeting, the representatives agreed that collaboration and cooperation between Bossey and the three mission agencies should even be more intensified and consolidated so that both sides can unlock more potential for the future. In addition to fostering contacts and regular exchange, they agreed upon organising common summer schools and leadership trainings as well as promoting Bossey’s academic programmes among member churches.

Sauca expressed his gratitude to the three agencies: “Through our intense cooperation and your reliable support, we are able to assure a missiological training for our students and we do hope that the cooperation will go on further.”
