During the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity, an annual meeting took place between officials of the Inter-religious Dialogue and Cooperation team of the World Council of Churches (WCC) and the Pontifical Council for Inter-religious Dialogue (PCID).

The event held on 20 January enabled information to be exchanged regarding activities carried out during 2014.

The meeting also offered the opportunity to reflect on future partnerships between the two institutions, which have collaborated for some years now, in order to exchange information and with a view to possible future joint initiatives. The two institutions are committed to working ecumenically where appropriate in order to strengthen inter-religious dialogue between Christians and representatives of other faith communities.
