NIFEA Workshop on Just Taxation and Reparations
The recently released Oxfam study and the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change report continue to highlight as the foremost global challenges of our times' unprecedented levels of inequality as well as a rapidly warming climate.
These demand global and national policies and mechanisms that promote a more equitable distribution of resources as well as reparations for historic social and ecological damages.
In this connection, the workshop will gather church leaders, church-rooted activists and experts on tax justice and reparations to with the aim of building a global ecumenical campaign for tax justice and reparations.
