Die Oster-Initiative 2024

Die Oster-Initiative ist eine jährliche Aktion des Ökumenischen Begleitprogramms in Palästina und Israel (EAPPI) und hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, die Ostergeschichte zu den gegenwärtigen Lebensrealitäten in Palästina und Israel in Beziehung zu setzen und dabei die Herausforderungen eines Lebens zu beleuchten, das von Gewalt, Krieg und Besetzung geprägt ist. Gleichzeitig will diese Initiative aber auch Hoffnung geben und Gruppen und einzelne Personen vorstellen, die sich für einen gerechten Frieden einsetzen.

Easter Initiative 2024

The Easter Initiative is an annual activity of the WCC-EAPPI, setting out to connect the stories of Easter with current realities in Palestine and Israel, to spotlight the challenges of a life marked by violence, war and occupation alongside nurturing hope and highlighting groups and individuals striving for a just peace.

Seminar: The Feast of Creation and the Mystery of Creation: Ecumenism, Theology, Liturgy, and Signs of the Times in Dialogue

The World Council of Churches (WCC), with the Laudato Si’ Movement and other partners, will cohost a seminar in Assisi, Italy, on 15-16 March. Entitled "The Feast of Creation and the Mystery of Creation: Ecumenism, Theology, Liturgy, and Signs of the Times in Dialogue,” the event aims to deepen the collective understanding and appreciation of the Feast of Creation, observed on 1 September.

"True Freedom” webinar
