The spirituality of the 6th World Conference on Faith and Order can be summarized in the two words, ‘We Believe,’ which is the title of ththis multilingual book of prayer resources. These words are a reminder that the timing of this 6th World Conference coincides with the 1700th Anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council in Nicaea in 325.

This volume contains songs and prayers to guide the daily prayer life. It is envisioned that daily moments of corporate interconfessional prayer will facilitate the confession of our common Apostolic Christian faith.

This resource, ‘We Believe,’ is being offered with the understanding that common prayer is at the heart of all of the World Council of Churches’ global gatherings.
