Wendy Gichuru serves as team Lead, Global Partnership Program in The United Church of Canada. She maintains lead responsibility for partnerships in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the Middle East and is The United Church’s focal point for global ecumenical program collaboration, including through the World Council of Churches/Specialized Ministries and ACT Alliance. She was born and raised in Nairobi, Kenya. Along with her husband and their two young children, she immigrated to Canada in 1989.
