Education and Ecumenical FormationThe Commission on Education and Ecumenical Formation (CEEF) is the WCC's primary advisory body for the whole area of education, ecumenical formation and faith nurture, which was identified as a central priority by the WCC 9th Assembly in 2006. The CEEF develops priorities and methodologies in these areas, fosters networking, exchange and collaboration among ecumenical institutions and experts in the area of ecumenical formation. Taking into account the spirit of the assembly, the CEEF was integrated with the Board of the Ecumenical Institute Bossey. StructureCEEF has 28 members from WCC member churches all over the world; two more members are appointed by the Pontifical Council for Promoting Christian Unity and the University of Geneva respectively. On the commission elected by the central committee in September 2006 both men and women, ordained and lay are strongly represented. 21 percent of commissioners are young adults. The full commission meets every 18 months.
